Clean UAE Campaign Launched to Highlight Key Tourism Beautiful Landmarks

Coinciding with International Volunteer Day (5 December 2022) the Cabinet approved the “Clean UAE” Campaign which was launched by the Ministry of Community Development and Ministry of Climate Change & Environment with the aim of cleaning up tourist destinations in the UAE in cooperation with Emirates Environmental Group.

 The campaign came in the context of a volunteering initiative aimed at enhancing the volunteering efforts of (27) federal government entities across the UAE, along with all the community members and their families, of different groups and ages, to achieve wide community participation in volunteering work to clean up tourist places and destinations across the UAE in a way that confirms positive citizenship spirit and embodies the Emirati heritage and patriotism.

 The "Clean UAE" campaign aims to encourage all community members to participate in this positive initiative that serves the community, promotes the spirit of volunteering on a larger scale, maintain the values of environmental culture, and guides the behavior of the individuals and society in support of national initiatives and positive practices, through continuous participation in cleaning tourist and public places.

 The "Clean UAE" campaign will continue during the coming period, as it is organized and managed through the Ministry of Community Development and the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, within Volunteers.ae platform, in order to facilitate the process of reaching a wide segment of society members, and achieve the national and development goals adopted by the campaign. Everyone can join the campaign and participate in its volunteering activities by registering through the Volunteers.ae platform (Volunteers.ae).
