The Ministry of Community Development launched its participation in the 14th season at Global Village, under the title "From the Community", aiming to support over 30 projects from the UAE community. Pavilion ‘971’ is an interactive platform to showcase and support ambitious national projects that reflect the national identity in line with empowering national project owners in the UAE society, by presenting high-quality, innovative, and unconventional ideas.
This year, the pavilion hosts Emirati projects that have a variety of products including ‘Marami Jewellery Project’, which highlights high-end jewellery, ‘Cha Cha Matcha Project’ offering healthy matcha drinks, in addition to ‘Rabdan Men’s Fashion Project’, ‘Dalla and Fenjan Project which showcases a diverse range of Arabic coffee. Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination also participates, showcasing various products created by people of determination. Additionally, Ghorss foundation, affiliated with Fujairah Charity Association, will exhibit a number of home projects and products. The Ministry was keen to have participants this year from different members of the community including youth, senior citizens, people of determination, modern projects, and projects that reflect Emirati culture.
The ministry aims, through this pavilion, to introduce the UAE community and the global village visitors to the national projects of various categories and ages. It also aims to enhance its vision, which seeks to achieve sustainable development, attract new projects, and create sustainable opportunities to promote their products by involving them in various events and exhibitions inside and outside the UAE.
The participation of Emirati projects in ‘971’ pavilion comes within the framework of a project adopted by the ministry and supported by the Global Village management under social responsibility. The ministry is keen on investing in community development through supporting and developing home projects, in order to achieve economic and social gains and empower Emirati families, confirming their stability and cohesion.
The participation of projects from the Emirati community embodies an ideal opportunity to stimulate competition and development for these projects, encourage and exploit the energy and talents of the youth, investing them in business ideas that are capable of growth and success. This achieves their support and enables them to achieve economic independence by creating diverse sources of income and developing their projects based on the principles of family cohesion and societal solidarity.
‘971’ project is one of the sustainable projects aimed at improving the economic level of Emirati projects. The Ministry encourages project owners and talents to register in ‘971’ project through its website www.mocd.gov.ae, and to benefit from the services, programs, and exhibitions provided by the ministry to them in a sustainable manner.
