The MOCD has declared that it has launched the project of "Community Schools" in cooperation with the Ministry of Education for the purpose of benefitting from the schools' infrastructure and enabling them to service the surrounding societies by organizing the daily programs and events which fit with the needs and requirements of all categories of society after the official regular hours of these schools.
The Ministry is seeking by implementing this project to create an stimulating environment so that their relatives can participate in the non-summer activities and that the members of society can also be merged in the secure and safe family environment by carrying out series of various entertainment activities. The Ministry is also seeking by implementing this project to strengthen the family coherence and society cohesion and benefit from the available resources of governmental institutions.
