Ministry of Community Development Empowers 240 Productive Emirati Families to Manage Micro-Projects

The Ministry of Community Development organized a series of training and rehabilitation workshops for Emirati Productive Families as part of the "Craft" program to promote the products of these families in the (10) social development centers all over the UAE from the beginning of this year until the end of December. During the fourth quarter of this year, the Ministry targets 240 Emirati families producing a range of quality workshops specialized in micro-project management.

The Ministry of Community Development organized a series of training and rehabilitation workshops for Emirati Productive Families as part of the "Craft" program to promote the products of these families in the (10) social development centers all over the UAE from the beginning of this year until the end of December. During the fourth quarter of this year, the Ministry targets 240 Emirati families producing a range of quality workshops specialized in micro-project management.


The rehabilitation and training workshops focus on micro-project management, in accordance with the highest standards in competitiveness and productivity, noting that they are management workshops with several integrated themes that support the development skills of the participants and enable them manage their projects in a scientific and practical manner. One of the most important objectives of these workshops and courses is to enable participants manage their projects with great professionalism, educate them about the modern concepts and understandings of micro-project management as well as the importance of successful management in terms of projects excellence and invest the available resources efficiently and effectively.


The participants will be trained in product quality standards, and their expertise and experiences will be refined with a range of management skills, such as problem-solving skills, decision-making, communications, dialogue and persuasion skills that are essential in dealing with suppliers and customers alike.


Julphar Development Center in Ras Al Khaimah organized on 8-9 September a training course about management of micro-projects for productive families, while Khorfakkan Development Center will organize another training course between 7-8 October;

Dibba Development Center on 9-10 October, Fujairah Development Center between 23-24 October, Dubai Development Center on 30-31 October, Um Al Qiwain Development Center on 4-5 November, Kalba Development Center between 6-7 November. The Ministry of Community Development will organize a final training course about micro-projects for Emirati productive families between 11-12 December to be the end of the fourth quarter.


It is noted that the social development centers play a pivotal role all over the UAE, their tasks are determined by providing targeted community services. The management micro-projects training workshops for emirati families are organized by the productive families’ program at the ministry for different emirati productive families of social categories i.e. youth, senior emiratis and mothers. The variety of experiences and skills that nurture the aspirations of these families support competitive aspirations and vision for quality productive work.
